My greatest professional joy, both during my years at Microsoft and the years since, has been not so much succeeding with my own projects and goals but in helping others to succeed in theirs. And this is the support I offer through consulting services to businesses, non-profits, and individuals alike.

There are two primary strengths I can bring to your table: (1) clarity, both in your purpose or vision and in the means that will bring you to fulfillment, and (2) creative problem-solving, or, put another way, creative solution-building. Both of these stem from (a) a capacity to understand, sort through, and make sense of complexity, and (b) an ability to look at problems or situations from a variety of perspectives, generating any number of new approaches that range from the simple and obvious to the sublime and potentially outrageous! The writings on this web site give, I hope, some testimony in this regard.

To explore whether I can be of service to you, I offer an two-hour initial consultation for a flat fee of $100 (travel outside the Portland Metro area is additional). Further consulting is then $200/hour; total fee includes any necessary travel time up to a $2000/day maximum.

For non-profits organizations and non-executive individuals, I'm happy to discuss reduced rates.
