I first ventured into photography in high school during
my freshman year, and have never stopped. Before converting entirely to
digital, I amassed over 8,000 slides and shot probably 16,000 images on
print film for various purposes. I've recently scanned those slides (and
some negatives) worthy of sharing, and plan on making many of them available
through this site for non-commercial use, along with other images that
originated digitally.
That, of course, is an extensive project, so for
starters I've posted those below. All are licensed under a
Creative
Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0
License unless otherwise noted, meaning that you can use them however you
like for non-commercial purposes provided that you attribute the source (see
below) and share derivative works under similar license.
Also, do consider making a
donation--it has taken considerable time, effort, and money to take
these photographs and make them available in this manner.
When attributing these images, use, at a minimum, "Kraig
Brockschmidt/www.kraigbrockschmidt.com" as you'll see on all the image
files.

owned at the time. These flocks of 100+ pine siskins would frequent our
